Erica approaches college counseling with a focus on both college readiness and meaningful
personal growth. She earned her B.A. in Psychology and Japanese from Williams College,
graduating Magna Cum Laude with Highest Honors in Psychology, and later completed her
M.Phil. in Education at the University of Cambridge, where she studied adolescent identity,
development, and well-being, especially in multilingual learning contexts. Her students have gone on to attend universities such as UCLA, UC Berkeley, the University of Chicago, Brown, Emory, Tufts, and the University of Oxford, among many others. Fluent in Chinese, English, and Japanese, she supports families across multilingual and
multicultural contexts, aiming to make the application process more accessible, reflective, and
empowering.

Paul L.
Sr. Principal Admissions Consultant
Paul has 24 combined years of teaching and counseling experience, 12 in a university setting and 12 in the college prep and educational consulting industry. He is a former professor in American Cultures and Asian Pacific American Studies at Loyola Marymount University and has also taught courses and advised students at UC Irvine. As an admissions consultant, he takes a direct, honest, and strategic approach with his students. His objective is always to guide students toward the college that’s the best fit for them. Paul's college placements include but are not limited to Harvard, Yale, Stanford, Columbia, UPenn, Cornell, Duke, Northwestern, UChicago, UC Berkeley, USC, UCLA, and Carnegie Mellon.
